About the matching game generator
Type any pairs, one per line (“photosynthesis - how plants make food”), and play straight away. In matching mode all cards are face up and you tap two that belong together; in memory mode they’re face down. Ready-made sets include things that go together, animals and their homes, and science vocabulary.

Frequently asked questions
How many pairs can I add?
As many as you like; each game uses 4 to 12 of them, chosen at random, so every round is different.
How do memory and matching modes differ?
In memory mode cards start face down and you remember where they are; in matching mode they’re face up, so it’s purely about knowing the answer.
Can I print the cards?
Yes. “Download cards PDF” prints every pair in the matching game generator as cut-out cards, 20 per A4 page.
Does it work on phones and classroom screens?
Yes. Cards resize to the screen and are big enough to tap; on a projector, students can take turns to pick.
Is anything saved or shared?
No. The game runs in your browser and nothing you type or play is stored or sent anywhere.
