Make progress visible
Charts work because they show progress at a glance. Set the goal, the number of steps and the reward, and the chart draws the right number of boxes, stars or circles. Add a name and a picture theme for children, or keep it plain for your own goals.
Frequently asked questions
How many boxes should a reward chart have?
For young children, 5 to 10 steps to a reward keeps it reachable. Older children can work towards 20 or 30. You can set any number from 3 to 60.
What’s the difference between a sticker chart and a star chart?
A sticker chart has round spaces sized for standard stickers; a star chart has stars to color in, so you don’t need stickers at all.
Can I put several children on one chart?
Yes. Behavior, chore and task charts accept several names, each with its own row.
