About the cut and paste worksheets
The top half of the page has shadow shapes; the bottom half has the same pictures inside dashed squares to cut out. Children cut, match and glue, and can colour the pictures too. Each cut-out is exactly the size of its shadow.
Cutting straight lines is the first scissor skill, so the pieces are simple squares.
