About the multiple choice quiz generator
Type each question with the right answer first and then two to five wrong answers, separated by bars. The generator shuffles the options for every question, so the right answer isn’t always A, and builds a printable test with lettered options and an answer key.
Writing strong options
- Keep options about the same length; the longest answer is often a giveaway.
- Use common mistakes as wrong answers (e.g. 56 for 9 × 6).
- Write options in a parallel style: all numbers, all names, all phrases.
