Accept UPI payments with your own code
A UPI QR code lets customers pay you from Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or any banking app by scanning instead of typing your UPI ID. It’s ideal for small shops, tutors, freelancers, home businesses, event stalls and anyone collecting fees.
A payment QR code that works with Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm and every UPI app. It’s a Google Pay QR code generator and PhonePe QR code in one.
Two ways to use it
- Counter code, no amount: customers scan and type what they owe. Print it once and use it every day.
- Bill code, fixed amount: set the amount and a note such as an order number, and the payment app fills them in. Great for invoices, fees and deposits. The invoice generator can add this kind of code to every invoice automatically.
The name you enter appears in the customer’s app before they pay, which reassures them they’re paying the right person.
Check before you print
Pay ₹1 to the code from another phone and confirm it reaches the right account. Print it large enough, at least 5 cm wide for a counter, and place it where people can scan without reaching. Add a caption like “Scan to pay with any UPI app”.
Direct to your bank
The code only contains your UPI ID and the details you entered, using the standard upi://pay format. Money moves from your customer’s bank to yours over UPI. Atifo never sees or handles your payments, and there are no fees.

Frequently asked questions
Which apps can pay with this QR code?
Any UPI app: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay and banking apps. The code uses the standard upi://pay format defined by NPCI.
Should I set an amount?
Leave it empty for a shop counter code, so customers type the amount. Set it for a specific bill, like a tuition fee or an invoice, so it is filled in automatically.
Does Atifo take a fee or see my payments?
No. The QR code only contains your UPI ID and details. Money goes directly from your customer’s bank to yours through UPI; Atifo is never involved.
Is this the same as a merchant QR from my bank?
It works the same way for receiving money to your UPI ID. Merchant QR codes from banks can add features like sound-box alerts and settlement reports, and some large businesses are required to use them.
