About the fraction matching game
Fractions click when children see the same amount written different ways: 3/4, 0.75, 75% and “three quarters”. Sets match fractions to decimals, percentages and words, find equivalent fractions, and simplify fractions to lowest terms.

Frequently asked questions
Do any sets have two right answers?
In “Simplify the fraction”, several fractions simplify to the same answer (2/4 and 5/10 are both 1/2). Any card showing 1/2 counts as a match.
Is anything saved or shared?
No. The game runs in your browser and nothing you type or play is stored or sent anywhere.
Does it work on phones and classroom screens?
Yes. Cards resize to the screen and are big enough to tap; on a projector, students can take turns to pick.
Can I print the cards?
Yes. “Download cards PDF” prints every pair in the fraction matching game as cut-out cards, 20 per A4 page.
How do memory and matching modes differ?
In memory mode cards start face down and you remember where they are; in matching mode they’re face up, so it’s purely about knowing the answer.
