About these fractions worksheets
Fractions start with pictures. Each shape (a circle, a bar or a rectangle) is split into equal parts with some shaded, and children write the fraction shaded. The denominator is the number of equal parts; the numerator is how many are shaded.
Start with halves, thirds and quarters, then move to tenths and twelfths.
Settings you can change
Each sheet has 12 questions by default (from 4 to 24), a name, date and score line, and an answer key on a separate page. Best for grades 1–4 (ages 6–10).

Teaching tips
