About this expense tracker
An expense tracker (or spending tracker) is a running log of every rupee spent: the date, what it was, its category, how you paid and the amount. Most people are surprised by what a month of small purchases adds up to, and that awareness is where saving starts.
At month end, total each category and compare with your budget planner.
What’s on the page
- A header with monthly budget, total spent.
- A table with columns for Date, Item or description, Category, Paid by, Amount.
- Category totals: a table with columns for Food, Transport, Bills, Shopping, Health, Fun, Other.
Tips
- Write expenses down the same day; check UPI history for anything you missed.
- Use the same category names as your budget.
- Circle impulse buys to spot patterns.
Made to fit, then printed
Everything on this expense tracker can be changed before you print: the title, the dates, the colour, the paper size and orientation. The page is drawn on your device and nothing is uploaded. Find more printables.
Frequently asked questions
Is an expense tracker the same as a budget?
No. A budget is your plan; an expense tracker records what actually happened. Together they show where to adjust.
Can I print several months at once?
Yes. Pick the start date and how many months you need; each month gets its own page with the right dates, all in one PDF.
What paper size should I print on?
Choose A4 or US Letter before downloading, and print at 100% or “Actual size”. Portrait and landscape layouts are both available.
Can I remove the atifo.app line at the bottom?
Yes. Switch off “Show atifo.app credit” in the Look section and the PDF has no branding at all.
Can I fill in the expense tracker on my phone or tablet?
Yes. Switch on “Fillable PDF” before downloading and the PDF gets typing boxes and tick boxes you can use in most PDF apps. Or print it and use a pen.
