About this lesson reflection sheet

Reflection is how teaching improves. This sheet asks a few focused questions after a lesson: did students meet the objective (and how do you know), what went well, what was difficult, how students responded, and what you’ll change next time.

It works for teacher-training portfolios, coaching conversations and your own practice.

What’s on the page

  • A header with lesson, class, date.
  • How did it go?: a tracker grid with a row for Objective met, Engagement, Pace, Behaviour and a circle for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
  • Labelled boxes for What went well, What was difficult, Evidence of learning, Student responses, Next time I will, Support or resources I need.

Tips

  • Reflect within a day while details are fresh.
  • Use evidence from student work, not just feelings.
  • Pick one change to try next time.

Made to fit, then printed

Everything on this lesson reflection sheet can be changed before you print: the title, the colour, the paper size and orientation. The page is drawn on your device and nothing is uploaded. Find more printables.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a teaching reflection sheet?

Yes. Use it to reflect on single lessons or a whole week of teaching.

Can I remove the atifo.app line at the bottom?

Yes. Switch off “Show atifo.app credit” in the Look section and the PDF has no branding at all.

What paper size should I print on?

Choose A4 or US Letter before downloading, and print at 100% or “Actual size”. Portrait and landscape layouts are both available.

Can I fill in the lesson reflection sheet on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Switch on “Fillable PDF” before downloading and the PDF gets typing boxes and tick boxes you can use in most PDF apps. Or print it and use a pen.

Will it print well in black and white?

Yes. The layout uses light fills and clear lines that print cleanly in grey. Choose the “Grey” colour to save colour ink entirely.
