Built for screenshots and graphics

PNG is the format of screenshots, diagrams, charts and scanned forms saved from apps. Those images are full of small text and thin lines, exactly the kind of detail that blurs if a converter squeezes it into a low-quality JPEG. PNG to PDF keeps them crisp.

Ideal for turning a screenshot to PDF, for example a payment confirmation or a chat you need to submit.

Lossless by default

On this page, image quality starts at Original. Your PNG files go into the PDF without being recompressed, so every pixel of a screenshot or chart is preserved. If you need a smaller file, switch to Balanced or Small file and Atifo will convert the images to compact JPEGs instead.

Page sizes that suit screen images

  • Fit image makes each page the exact size of its image. It’s great for screenshots you’ll read on a screen.
  • A4, Letter or Legal places each image on a standard page for printing, scaled to fit inside the margins without cropping.
  • Auto orientation gives wide screenshots landscape pages and tall phone screenshots portrait pages.

Collect a whole set of screens

Documenting a bug, a booking or a chat? Add all your screenshots, drag them into order and create one PDF that reads like a short report. You can mix in JPG and WebP images too.

Transparent images

Transparent areas are kept with original quality and look white on the page, so logos and icons sit cleanly on the paper.

Private by design

Screenshots often show personal details. Atifo converts them in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Will screenshots stay sharp?

Yes. With “Original” quality, which is the default here, PNG images go into the PDF without lossy compression, so small text and thin lines stay crisp.

What happens to transparent backgrounds?

Transparent areas are kept when the original quality is used, and appear white on the page. With smaller quality settings they are filled with white.

Which page size is best for screenshots?

“Fit image” makes each page exactly the size of the screenshot, with no white borders. Choose A4 or Letter if you plan to print.

Can I mix PNG and JPG files?

Yes. You can add PNG, JPG and WebP images together, and they’ll appear in the PDF in the order you set.

Why is my PDF large?

Lossless PNG keeps every pixel, which can make files big. Choose “Balanced” or “Small file” quality for a much smaller PDF.
