Three layouts
- Side by side puts images in a row. Great for before-and-after comparisons and two screenshots together.
- Stacked places them one above another, perfect for the front and back of an ID card or a long series of chat screenshots.
- Grid arranges them in rows and columns for a simple collage. Choose how many columns.
Merge photos side by side or one above the other, join images into one, or make a simple photo collage online.
Making it look tidy
With Make images the same size switched on, images in a row get the same height and images in a column the same width, so the edges line up neatly. In a grid, every image gets an equal cell. Add spacing for a gap between pictures and pick a background colour for the gaps and borders.
Order and rotation
Drag the thumbnails to change the order, or focus one and press Alt with the arrow keys. Use the rotate button on any image that’s sideways. The result follows exactly what you see.
Size and format
The combined image keeps as much detail as possible, up to about 16 megapixels so it opens on every phone. Save photos as JPG for a smaller file, or PNG for screenshots with sharp text.
Need a document instead?
Upload portals that want “all pages in one file” usually mean a PDF. Use Image to PDF to put each image on its own page.
Frequently asked questions
How do I put two photos side by side?
Choose both photos, keep “Side by side” and “Make images the same size” switched on, and tap Combine. Both are scaled to the same height so they line up.
Can I combine ID card front and back on one image?
Yes. Choose “Stacked” to put the front above the back, add a little spacing, and download as JPG. To make a PDF instead, use JPG to PDF.
Is there a size limit?
Up to 30 images. Very large results are scaled down to about 16 megapixels so they open on every phone and browser.
Which format should I choose?
JPG for photos (smaller files), PNG for screenshots and graphics with sharp text.
