About this printable

Twenty-four numbered boxes, each with a simple activity: make a paper snowflake, write a card for a friend, donate a toy or book, sing a carol, go for a winter walk, help cook dinner and more. Most need nothing you don’t already have at home.

Edit any day to fit your family’s plans and schedule, then print one page to stick on the fridge and tick off as you go.

What’s included

  • Days: 24.

Tips

  • Put busy days (school concerts, travel) on the easiest activities.
  • Cut the boxes apart and put one in an envelope for each day.
  • Mix in a few kind activities so the countdown isn’t only about presents.

About the festival

Christmas is celebrated on 25 December to mark the birth of Jesus Christ. Many churches hold a service on Christmas Eve, and homes are decorated with trees, lights, wreaths and stockings.
